The Board of Directors is the chief elected/appointed body of the organization. The Board is a joint and collective power which exists only when board members act together as one body. Individual board members have no power on their own. The Board is responsible for everything in and about the organization.
The Board of Director’s responsibilities are as follows:
- Represent the communities’ interest in the organization, hold ownership of the organization on behalf of the community and to guard the assets of the organization.
- Hiring, terminating, disciplining, and evaluating the Executive Director.
- Supporting and advising the Executive Director.
- Plan for the future of the organization.
- Oversee the financial stability of the organization.
- Oversee the outcomes of programs and services.
- Participate in monthly meetings
